The F-5E Tiger II is used by U.S. Navy and Air Force Squadrons as an Aggressor
at their Air-To-Air combat training centers. The pilots fly, fight and think
like Soviet Pilots, and their mission is to teach Navy and Air Force Pilots how
to engage the enemy in Air-To-Air combat. To simulate the performance and
characteristics of the Mig-21 the U.S. Navy and Air Force selected the F-5E. The
aircraft is capable of speeds in excess of Mach 1.6. This kit contains Diecut
Balsa Parts, Vacuum Formed Plastic Parts, a Clear Plastic Canopy and Balsa
Strips and Blocks as needed. Also included is an authentic Military Marking
Decal Sheet that allows you to finish the model as the U.S. Navy Aggressor or
the simulated Adversary. The instructions explain how to build the model for
static display or as a catapult launch flyer.
Photos must be purchased separately.
Top Picture is of a Finished Model, background added.
