The F-18 Hornet is a High-Tech aircraft developed to form the backbone of U.S.
Navy Squadrons. This is a dual role airplane. As a fighter the aircraft carries
only one man. For Air-To-Air combat, it carries two AIM-7 Sparrow Missiles on
the Fuselage and a pair of AIM-9 Sidewinders on Wingtip Racks. The nose mounts a
20mm M61 six barrel Rotary Cannon. As an attack bomber the Hornet would carry
weapons such as AGM-84A Harpoon Missiles. This kit contains Diecut Balsa Parts,
Vacuum Formed Plastic Parts and a Clear Plastic Canopy. Also included is an
authentic Military Marking Decal Sheet, Balsa Strips and Blocks as needed, with
instructions to build model for static
display or catapult launch flying.
