The F-16A Fighting Falcon is the U.S. Air Force choice for a lightweight highly
maneuverable fighter. With the introduction of the sleek F-16, General Dynamics
created the Free Worlds most advanced fighter. This agile fighter is powered by
Pratt & Whitneys F-100 Turbofan and capable of speeds in excess of MACH 2.
Capable of a variety of armaments this model sports two AIM-9 Sidewinder
Missiles and a 20mm Cannon. The "Air Combat Maneuvering" arena is a
realistic training environment that pits Pilot against Pilot and Aircraft
against Aircraft. When asked which aircraft was the hardest to defeat one-on-one
in air combat, the answer without hesitation from Aggressor Pilots was the F-16.
This kit contains Diecut Balsa Parts, Vacuum Formed Plastic Parts and a Clear
Plastic Canopy. Also included is an Authentic ,Military Marking Decal Sheet,
Balsa Strips and Blocks as needed with instructions to build model for static
display or
catapult launch flying.
