This model was designed and drawn by Ray Smith in 1939. Our reissue contains an added insert for the port wing. The prototype engine was the very light Atwood Phantom. It weighed 3.5 oz. and produced 1/7 hp. at 6500 rpm. The Hornet is a first-class sport model and a potent contest airplane.
