The Thunderbolt Razor is a 1/17.5 scale, SAM qualified, flying model that uses the Precision Beam method of construction. Now includes vacuum-formed canopy and modernized plan. Also known as the "Jug," the Thunderbolt was a big, rugged, overbuilt aircraft that was particularly useful as a fighter-bomber for the US and its Allies during WWII. Able to bring its pilot home safely despite extensive damage. Early versions had a razorback canopy configuration which left pilots with a blind-spot at the 6:00 rear position. A bubble canopy solved the problem.

This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size revised plan, building instructions, printed balsa wood, balsa stripwood, rubber motor, propeller, nose package, vacuum-formed canopy, wheels, and Easy Built Lite colored tissue. You will need a building board, pins, hobby knife, sandpaper, and glue.
