The Howard DG-9 is a 1/30 scale, SAM qualified, flying model that uses the Box and Former method of construction. Also qualified for FAC Dime scale. Self-taught aircraft designer & builder, Benny Howard built the D-G-A (Damned Good Airplane) racing airplanes from 1924-43. His planes set records for speed, smallest aircraft & inverted flying. The DGA-9 was produced in 1937.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size plan, building instructions, printed balsa wood, balsa stripwood, rubber motor, propeller, nose package, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear, and Easy Built Lite colored tissue. You will need a building board, pins, hobby knife, sandpaper, and glue.
