The FF-35 Stinson Reliant is a 1/42 scale, Society of Antique Modelers qualified, flying model that uses the Box and Former method of simplified construction.
The Stinson Aircraft Corporation introduced the Reliant in 1933. It was a 4 or 5 seat monoplane used primarily for civilian purposes until the start of WWII at which time several dozen were impressed into service by the US Coast Guard and Navy.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size plan, building instructions, printed balsa wood, balsa stripwood, rubber motor, propeller, nose package, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear, and Easy Built Lite colored tissue. You will need a building board, pins, hobby knife, sandpaper, and glue.
