The Leopard Moth is a 1/20 scale, Society of Antique Modelers qualified, flying model that uses the Box and Former method of construction. Instructions included for conversion to CO2 power. A stable, reliable, and consistent flying model.
The first appearance of this machine coincided with its entry in the King’s Cup Race in 1933. Three Leopards entered, taking the top 3 places with Capt. de Havilland taking first.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size plan, building instructions, printed balsa wood, balsa stripwood, rubber motor, propeller, nose package, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear, and Easy Built Lite colored tissue. You will need a building board, pins, hobby knife, sandpaper, and glue.
