The Piper Cub is a 1/19 scale, Society of Antique Modelers qualified, flying model that uses the Box and Former method of simplified construction.

The Piper Cub was originally built by Piper Aircraft Corporation, it was very popular with the flying public because of its price, light weight, and performance. It was also used by the military beginning in 1941 under the name L-4 Grasshopper. Between 1941 and 1945, the Army procured almost 6,000 Piper Aircraft. During WWII, "Grasshoppers" performed a wide variety of functions throughout the world such as directing artillery fire, pilot training, glider pilot instruction, courier service and front-line liaison.

This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size plan, building instructions, printed balsa wood, balsa stripwood, rubber motor, propeller, nose package, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear, and Easy Built Lite colored tissue.
