Designed by R. J. Mitchell in 1936, this is most well known British aircraft of WWII. Our model was designed in 1942 and is qualified to fly in Society of Antique Modelers contests. The Supermarine Spitfire is a 1/12 scale flying model that uses the Box and Former building method.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size plan, building instructions, printed balsa wood, balsa stripwood, rubber motor, propeller, nose package, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear, and Easy Built Lite colored tissue. You will need a building board, pins, hobby knife, sandpaper, and glue.
