Kit EB-01 Supermarine Spitfire Mk 1 is a
1/22 scale flying model that uses the Precision Beam method of construction.
The most famous British aircraft of WWII, the Spitfire was conceived as an
interceptor with high speed, heavy armament, high rate of climb and the agility
to make repeated attacks as well as to fight off escorting aircraft. Its
characteristic elliptical wing shape, thinner than any other fighter of the day,
coupled with an innovative aerodynamic ducted radiator
produced extra power worth 70 hp at 300 mph.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size plan, building and
flying instructions, printed balsa wood, hand-picked balsa strip wood, rubber
motor, propeller, nose package, press-on decals, vacuum-formed canopy, wheels,
and Easy Built Lite tissue in light grey and evergreen. You will need a building
board, pins, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
