Kit D-12LC Etrich Taube is a 1/20 scale display model of the famous, bird shaped aircraft from the early days of flight.

Designed by Austrian, Igo Etrich, the Taube was used by the Germans in WWI for reconnaissance/training. Etrich's first Taube was built in 1910. The Taube was a precursor of the nimble fighters of WWI. This kit is a model of the most widely produced version, the 1913 two-seat military monoplane.

This display kit contains a full-size rolled plan, building instructions, LASER CUT balsa parts, hand-picked balsa strip wood, dowels, wire, LaserCal™ markings (precut from Easy Built Lite tissue using out laser), and Easy Built Lite tissue in linen. You will need a building board, pins, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue. The builder determines the level of detail for this model and may need to supply additional materials.
