Flown in 1909, the Silver Dart was the first powered flight in Canada. Designed by the Aerial Experiment Association, a team which included Alexander Graham Bell, Glenn Curtiss, Douglas McCurdy and other distinguished minds. It was also the first time a water-cooled engine was used in an airplane.
