The D-07 Hampden Bomber is a 1/28 scale display model that uses the Box and Former method of building. Includes a vacuum formed canopy and 3 turrets and markings.
This British bomber was used early in WWII, being the only aircraft capable of bombing Germany. Known to its crews as the "flying frying pan", it was an uncomfortable yet reliable aircraft with a modest bomb load of 4,000 pounds. It was replaced by the more versatile Lancaster bomber.
This display kit contains a full-size rolled plan, building instructions, printed balsa wood, hand-picked balsa stripwood, vacuum-formed canopy and 3 observation/gun turrets, wheels, press-on decals and Easy Built Lite colored tissue. You will need a building board, pins, hobby knife, sandpaper, and glue.
