The D-03 Lancaster Bomber is a 1/32 scale display model that uses the Precision Beam method of building. Includes a vacuum-formed canopy, turrets, and markings.
This highly successful WWII British bomber was used to carry the “Grand Slam” a 22,000 pound bomb designed to explode beneath the surface in an earthquake effect. It was used in the “Dambusters” raid and the attack which sunk the German Battleship Tirpitz.
This display kit contains a full-size rolled plan, building instructions, printed balsa wood, hand-picked balsa stripwood, vacuum-formed canopy and 4 gun turrets, wheels, press-on decals and Easy Built Lite colored tissue. You will need a building board, pins, hobby knife, sandpaper, and glue.
