Launch Set
3...2...1...race! First one off the
dueling launch pad is the winner! Load up the slash and streak with an
Estes mini engine and race side by side with your family and friends.
The rockets are fully assembled, factory decorated and can be raced over
and over. The set comes with a carrying case for storage that converts
into dueling launch pads. Requires Estes mini model rocket engines and
four "d" alkaline batteries - sold separately. Important!
Before each launch, check that the launch rod is smooth &
straight-especially at the joint. Use sandpaper or steel wool to smooth
joint & remove engine residue from rod. Gently straighten rod if
bent. After launching & before inserting shock cord, streamer &
nose cone into rocket body for your next flight, check the inside of the
body at the nose cone end for engine residue. Use a moist cotton swab or
tissue to remove the residue. Check nose cone fit. It should be snug but
not tight.
