Friends,
We would like to introduce ourselves to you. We are Bill and Jean Shive,
the owners of Penn Valley Hobby Center. We have been married since 1957.
Our family includes 3 married children and eight grandchildren.
When we bought the business in 1968, it was located in a small store in
downtown Lansdale. We moved into our current location in 1970. We consider
Penn Valley Hobby Center to be an old time model shop and intend to keep
it that way. We specialize in model kits, model building materials and supplies
for the novice to the expert hobby enthusiast. It is our desire to have
an honest, cheerful, courteous, knowledgeable operation, run with Biblical
standards. It is not our desire to be the largest hobby shop on the east
coast, but to be the best we can be. We would like to thank our past and
present customers for your support and would like to welcome our new customers.
We look forward to doing business with each of you in the future.
